He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Burkhart and Evelyn Burkhart; and his wife Rose Burkhart. He is survived by: his children, Susan Brookes (Stephen) of Feasterville, Jim Burkhart (Jane) of Bangor, ME, Dan Burkhart (Martina) of Tujunga, CA and Rebecca Ludwig of Baltimore, MD; his grandchildren, Ryan, Joseph, Austin, Christopher, James, Catherine and Elizabeth; and his sister Polly Flacco. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
