He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Diefenderfer and Ruth Diefenderfer (Squibb); and his sister Jane Bossler (Diefenderfer). He is survived by: his wife Faye Diefenderfer (Kauffman); his sons, David D. of New Jersey, Jeffrey (Mary Lou), Robert (Lori) and Muhlenberg; and his grandsons, Jason, Craig, John, Mark and Jordan.
