She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley J. "Skip" Szurgot; her parents, Casper Gdowik and Joanna Gdowik (Kwarta); and her siblings, Anna Eitzel, Walter "Deacon" Gdowik, Nora Giniewski, Florence Hydock, Frank Gdowik, Josephine Gardecki, Mary "Minnie" Gdowik and Joseph Gdowik.
She is survived by: her children, Donna M. Duffy (Exeter), Stephen M. Szurgot (Marie), Lynn M. Rothermel (Wyomissing) and Robert A. Szurgot (Wyomissing); her grandchildren, Nicholas, Ashley, Zachary Duffy, Jessica, Joshua Szurgot, Olivia, Ian Rothermel and Jack Szurgot; and her great grandchildren, Addison and Benjamin.
