It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LeRoy Edward Burton of Erie, Pennsylvania, born in Eldred, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Burton and Gertrude Morris Burton; his brothers, Paul and Howard Russell Burton; and his brother-in-law James Guarino (Ramona).
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Burton; his daughters, Susan Vargulich (Timothy) and Debra Schroeck; his grandchildren, Matthew Schneider and Ashley Whinnery (Dennis); his great grandchildren, Carson and Braxton Whinnery; his siblings, Wade Burton (Deanna), Richard Burton (Janet) and Eunice Sandrick (Tom); and his siblings-in-law, Linda Dodson (Ronald) and Gregory Guarino (Rose). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
