It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Elizabeth (Kraus) Konzel (Erie, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norbert L. Kraus and Gertrude M. Jacquel Kraus; her husband Nicholas Konzel, Sr.; and her siblings, Mary Ann Wickham and Norbert Kraus.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Konzel (Cheryl), Mary Sorger (Arthur), Patricia Merski (Ronald), Barbara Henry (Martin), Nicholas Konzel Jr. (Crystal), Nancy Konzel, Thomas Konzel (Tracy), Theresa Konzel and James Konzel (Julie); and her sister Jacqueline Kraus Staab of Erie. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren plus, a multitude of nieces and nephews.
