She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Maloney and Margaret Leslie Maloney; her husband James J. Piersol, Sr.; and her stepfather Emil Gorenflo. She is survived by: her children, Michele K. Lawson (Peter) of Fairview, James J. Piersol, Jr. and O. D. (Anne Eisert); her grandchildren, Amanda, Mallory Lawson, James J. III and Matthew Piersol; her sister Marion Nies; and her sister-in-law Francine Piersol. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
