As Elaine departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Elaine. Though Elaine may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael J. Kosares and Tekla "Tillie" Szczutkowski Kosares; her husband Richard G. Carey; and her siblings, Alexander, John Kosares and Rita Dudenhoefer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Norma Carey of Erie and Brenda Zaunegger (Michael) of Erie; and her grandsons, Tony of Greensboro, NC and Andy Zaunegger (Anna) of Greensboro, NC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
