“I didn't realize Steve had such a big family. I'll remember Steve as an intelligent and caring person who made keen observations, on a bus ride in college days and at a class reunion. In recent years we almost connected for some outdoor hiking or skiing. (His brother Huw shared ice cream bars when I first came to Ohio Elem, and I once helped keep Huw safe from a fight.) Steve fits his picture of a down-to-earth, back-to-nature, guitar-picking guy. My condolences.”
