She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert E. Coon and Alice Eddinger George Coon; her husband Paul H. Carlson; her grandson Robert Tilburg; her stepgrandson Steven Smoker; and her siblings, Mae O. Buganza, Lillian A. Sidelinger and Robert O. George.
She is survived by: her daughter Maxine Waddington; her stepchildren, Joellen Wycoff, Robert Smoker and Steven Smoker; and her granddaughter Deborah Tilburg. She is also survived by several step grandchildren; several step great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
