He was predeceased by: his parents, George Arnold and Myrtle V. Arnold (Schmick). He is survived by: his wife Louise I. Arnold (Brophy); his children, Daniel R. of Earlysville, VA and Susan Arnold Yoder (Jonas) of Springfield, PA; his sister Emily Dreas (Carlton) of Emmaus; and his grandson Benjamin Yoder.
