He was predeceased by: his wife Linda E. Hinkel (Bruch); and his parents, Astor D. Hinkel and Elizabeth L. Hinkel (Sperlbaum). He is survived by: his children, Scott D., Steven M., Matthew J. (Erin), Susan G. (David Staus) and Sharon L. (Jonathan Kile); and his brother Dennis. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
