She was predeceased by: her parents, Roderick Troxell and Hattie Best (Shiffert); her stepfather Earl Best; and her husband Dr. Wistar Paist. She is survived by: her children, Debra and Dr. Wistar, Jr. (Linda); and her granddaughter Alison.
