He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford and Rachel; his former wife Martha McKaern; his sister-in-law Mary Jane Dittman; his siblings, Lewis, David Franklin "Ben", Esther Brodock, Ruby Sollinger, John and Richard; and his stepson Gary Lauer.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kay" Joyce Ehrhart Dittman; his children, Wayne Jr., Donna, Randy (Gloria), Jackie Jones and Lisa; his grandchildren, Kimberly Sargent, Shawna Rupert (David), Leroy Dittman (Bobbie), Elaina Ware, Roy-Daniel Eckert (Janet), Billy, Clifford and Rebecca Schall; and his stepchildren, Susan Lauer and Brett Lauer (Diana). He is also survived by 12 step grandchildren and 18 step great grandchildren, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
