He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey E. "Fred" and Emma E. "Betty" Scott Walter; and his sister Gail Austin. He is survived by: his wife Eugenia "Genia" Guzylak Walter; his children, Elizabeth K. Sawyer (Nathan) of St. Petersburg and Matthew Evans of Knox; his granddaughter Madison; and his siblings, Larry Walter of Greenville, Fred Walter of Phillipsburg, Richard "Dick" Walter of Emlenton, Carol O'Neil of Emlenton, Linda Tulip of Durham, NC, Deborah Confer of Franklin, Tina Dunkle of Emlenton and Vinnie O'Connor of Sharon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
