It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carol Diane Wilfong of Emlenton, Pennsylvania, born in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 29, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Haswell and Norma Haswell (Bubb); her grandparents, Bill, Dorothy Bubb (Dibell), William and Birdie Haswell (Scheidemantle); her sister Elaine Haswell; her stepdaughter Jamie Wilfong; and her niece Michelle Hardy.
She is survived by: her husband Richard "Rick" Wilfong; her children, Christine Hamovitz, Samuel Makarevich, William Dean Makarevich and Michael Makarevich; her stepson Eric Wilfong; her grandchildren, Jennifer Carol Gales, Tannor Makarevich, Alexandria Makarevich, Gwendolyn Baker, Julia Wilfong and Joshua Wilfong; her brothers, Lloyd Haswell Jr. (Skip), David Haswell (Tracie Haswell) and William Makarevich; and her former husband William Makarevich. She is also survived by many nieces, and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you make a donation, in Carol's name, to the local food bank in Clintonville, Pa.
