He was predeceased by: his parents, Emilio Emil and Josephine Emil (Kraszewski); his children, Joseph Emil Jr., Judith Ann Emil and Bernadine Begis; and his brother Emilio "Skinny" Emil.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Emil of Atlas; his children, John Cupsta (Michele) of Valley View and Colleen Kane (Frank) of Locust Gap; his son-in-law Joe Begis; his grandchildren, Jacob Begis, Joey Begis, Frank Kane Jr. (Debbie), Amy Sadusky, Amber Melocheck (Kevin "PJ") and Sara Cupsta; his great grandchildren, Gavin Begis, Liam Begis, Frank Kane III, Wesley Melocheck, Justin Klinger, Lexi Kane, Ashley Sadusky, Kayle Kane, Callie Melocheck, Faith Melocheck, Charlotte Melocheck, Summer Cupsta and Penelope Klinger; and his brother John Emil.
