He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Clair and Thelma S. "Tommie" Palmatier Welch; his wife Marie J. Stocking; his friends, Steve and Matt Gray; his son Patrick Welch (Amy); his stepchildren, Tim Whitney (Lesli), John Bennett (Brandi Weatherley), Michelle Robinson (Randy), Vicky Kerr (Butch) and Sharon Gleason (Dan); his grandchildren, Harley, Riley and Kaylee; his great grandchild Jackson Philip Welch; and his siblings, Tom Welch (Bonnie), Frances Lester (Galen), Elizabeth Welch, Ina Payne (Gary) and Lois Welch.
