He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Poyer and Eleanor Rossi (Yale); his wife Joy Poyer (Mosloskie); his son Jesse Grainer; and his brothers, Roy Poyer and Alex Ferri.
He is survived by: his children, James Poyer (Nicole) of Mountain Top, Steven Poyer of Easton, Henry Howell (Debbie) of Easton and Michelle Poyer (Greg) of Scranton; his siblings, Darlene Hasko (Gary) of West Easton, David Rossi (Grace) of Kokomo, IN, Raymond Rossi (Judy) of Stroudsburg and William Rossi (Merla) of Martins Creek; and his sister-in-law Rose Poyer of Williams Township. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
