It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amy J. McDermott of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, who passed away on November 16, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Meisner and Doris Meisner (Westman). She is survived by: her husband William McDermott; her children, Briana Iaconetti (Matthew) of Maryland, Shannan Ierovante (Ben) of Cresco and Kristopher Gerhard (Brittany) of South Carolina; her stepchildren, Erin Fisher (Jon) of Stroudsburg and Sean McDermott (Jennifer); her sisters, Lynn Gronbech (Eric) of Illinois and Nancy Anne Montero (Fred) of New York; and her grandchildren, Lyla, Madeline, Ginger, Jason, Justin and Emilia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made in honor of Amy to the Special Olympics.
