She is survived by: her grandson Joshua; her husband Norman Metzler; her children, Julia LeVan (Steve), Norman Metzler II (Shannon) and Joshua Metzler; her grandchildren, Norman, Caleb, Jaden, Mitchell, Hannah Metzler, Christopher, Nathaniel and Isaac LeVan; her sisters, Shirley Kerr, Marilyn Lund and Nancy Johnson (Wayne); her brother-in-law Virgil Beaty; her stepbrothers, Gary Ebbesen (Donna) and Bob Ebbesen (JoAnn); and her brothers-in-law, Emery Metzler (Pearl), Mark Metzler (Sandy) and Jeffrey Metzler (Tina). She is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins and other extended family, and many dear friends.

Janette's Christian faith provided the foundation for everything else in her life.
