We are sad to announce that on June 26, 2023, at the age of 75, Shirley M. Young of Duncansville, Pennsylvania, born in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William F. Yingling Jr. and Alma Yingling (Martz); her husband Lawrence Young; her sister Karen Chappell; and her nephew Bryan Chappell.
She is survived by: her sisters, Nancy Yingling and Jane Baird (John); her brother-in-law Jim Chappell; her nephews, Josh (Brittany), Jared (Kaitlin), Jonathan Baird (Paige) and Jeremy Chappell (Tara); her great-niece Raelynne; and her great-nephews, Beckett and Larrett.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Dry Run Independent Baptist Church.
