He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Rentz and Mary Rentz (Diehl); his brothers, James and Donald; and his sister-in-law Kathleen.
He is survived by: his wife Linda McCoy; his children, Lori Wilson (Mac), Tamara Rentz, Kris Wolford (Tammy) and Jason Wolford (Billie Jo); his siblings, Marjorie Zimmerman (Ronald), Charles, Neil and Timothy (Colleen); and his sisters-in-law, Martha and Susan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, an uncle, and cousins.
