He was predeceased by: his sibling Barbara Bickel; and also Patrick Sweeney. He is survived by: his children, Katherine Bickel and Barry Bickel, Jr.; his significant other Georgia Kolbas; his siblings, Thomas Sweeney (Catherine), Elizabeth Olimpio (Nicholas) and Robert Bickel (Debbie); and his nieces and nephews, Matthew Bickel, Nathan Bickel, Barbara Faltinek, Catherine Sweeney, Lenny and Ricky.
