He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Matz (Rowe) and John Jay Matz; and his girlfriend Kathy Eschelman. He is survived by: his son Todd J (Lisa Matz) of Reading, PA.; his grandchildren, Anthony Matz (Natasha) of Sinking Spring, Troy Matz of Reading, Ashley Corbett of Reading and Jennifer Becker of Reading; and his great grandchildren, Ayden Grillo of Reading, Abbigale Hefflefinger of Reading and Decklin Becker of Reading.
