We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2022, at the age of 91, Betty J. Payne of Douglassville, Pennsylvania, born in Reading, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband William C. Payne; her parents, Walter C. Labe and Anna S. Labe (Ludwig); and her brother Walter H. Labe. She is survived by: her sons, Carl W. Payne (Michele), Curt A and Eric S. Payne (Robin). She is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Zion Spies Lutheran Church.
