He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Powers and Anna Buckler Powers; his daughter Eileen Dawn Powers; and his sister Eleanor Perry. He is survived by: his daughters, Catharine A. Riehl (Jay) of Gap and Carrie Anderson (Eric) of Lancaster; his former wife Marie Powers of Gordonville; his grandchildren, Jennifer (Chris Slaymaker) of Gap, Caitlyn (Tim Moss) of Boston, MA and Walter Anderson of Lancaster; his great grandchildren, Emily and Matthew Slaymaker; and his sister Anna Marie Waltman of New Jersey.
