He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Shupp and Ada Shupp (Trostle); his stepsister Helen Boyer; and his siblings, Arlene Noll, Richard, Elmer, Walter and Chester Shupp.
He is survived by: his children, Robert E., Jr. (Shelbie) and Barbara Santiago of Denver; his grandchildren, Eric Shupp, Jeremy Santiago, Kendy Shupp and David Santiago; his great grandchildren, Mariah, Summer, Skylar, Petter and Kailee; and his sisters, Emma Good of Ephrata and Dorothy Fultz of Denver.
