She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas D. Filbert; her parents, Wayne N. Smith and Ethel M. Smith (Shankweiler); her sister Rosealie G. Wade; and her grandson Frank Vroman Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Tobias (Mark), Joan Bartholomew, Frank Vroman (Barbara) and Steve Cuzner (Robin); and her siblings, Carl Smith, Ronald Smith, Dennis Smith and Marlene Harp. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Berks County Reading (1801 N. 11th Street, Reading, PA 19604) in Nancie's name.
