He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy S. Getz and Ella Getz (Meckley); his son Larry Lee Getz; and his siblings, Harold Getz of Lititz, Ethel "Dolly" Plotts of Severn, MD and Donna Sweigart of Denver.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Getz (Zimmerman); his son S. Michael Getz of Providence, RI; and his brother Loran Getz of Denver. He is also survived by two uncles; 20 cousins; and 13 nieces & nephews.
