It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Sheaffer of Denver, Pennsylvania, born in Schaefferstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 30, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Sheaffer and Alice Sheaffer (Hiernisen); his wife Etta Mae Sheaffer (Schmeck); and his sisters, Treva Styer and Jean Goshert.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen (late Phillip Trimber) of St. Peter's Village, Denise (Stan Mellinger) of Stevens and Carol Sheaffer; his close friends, Jesse Snyder of Schoeneck, Diane (Michael Wolf) of Stevens, Carla Sheaffer and Allen Testerman of Manheim; his sisters, Beatrice (Edgar Gress) of Reinholds, Alverta Kepner of Lititz and Shirley (late Stanley Wilk) of Ephrata; and his brother-in-law Chester Goshert of Blainsport. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren.
