She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Curlin and Wealthy Morrow (Libby); her husband Raymond F. Shutt, Jr.; her daughter Jill E. Dent; and her sister Cecelia Evans.

She is survived by: her children, Raymond F. Shutt, III and Gayle (Ray Weatherill) of Danville; her granddaughters, Libby Weatherill, Abby Weatherill and Alicia (Shane Neidig); her great grandchild Alexus Moore; her brother Samuel Curlin Morrow, Jr. of Danville; and her son-in-law David E. Dent of Danville.
