He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Houseknecht and Vivian Houseknecht (Metzger); his wife Mary Jane Lehman; and his son Joseph Houseknecht. He is survived by: his children, Norman Houseknecht of Danville, Bruce Houseknecht, Tonya Lauver of Lewisburg, Jennifer Betz (Billy) of Southampton and David Houseknecht (Julie) of Danville; his grandchildren, Kassidy Houseknecht, Brooke Zerby, Makayla Houseknecht and Lance Houseknecht; his siblings, Arthur Houseknecht (Barb) of Danville and Sharon DeGreen of Washingtonville; and his close friend Pam Miller of White Deer.
