He was predeceased by: his father Albert Cable; and his former wife Lillian "Lily" Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Shirlee L. Thompson; his stepdaughters, Deborah Benninger, Tami Kenney, Margie Kennedy and Lori Sciremammano; and his sister Shirley Cochrane of Courtland, OH. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great – grandchildren.
