He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel A. Hartman and Mary Rudisill Hartman; and his siblings, Mary Louise Sherk, Dr Samuel Hartman, II and James Rufus Hartman.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, David Hartman of Plymonth Meeting, Kathy (Scott Smith) of League City, TX and Keith (Anita Hartman) of Media; and his grandchildren, Samantha, Robert and Maya.
