He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen J. Maurer and Eguenia D. Maurer (Masilunas); and his brother William Maurer. He is survived by: his brother Robert S. Maurer (Donna); and his nieces and nephews, Andrea Maurer, Stephanie Rupp, Steve Maurer, Paul Maurer, Michael Maurer and Charles Maurer. He is also survived by numerous cousins and his many friends.
In lieu of flowers, Father Russell asked that any donations to be directed to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
