He was predeceased by: his wife Norma J. Janesch; his daughter Annette H. Rupert; and his granddaughter Rebecca Gearinger. He is survived by: his daughter Diane S. Gearinger (Neal) of Sunbury, Ohio; his grandchildren, Matthew, Rachel, Christopher Gearinger, Daniel and Melissa Rupert; his son-in-law Scott Rupert; and his sister Marie.
