He was predeceased by: his parents, Pasquale Gizzi and Angelina Rappa Gizzi; his daughter Angela Gizzi Berni (John); and his siblings, Thomas Gizzi (Marie), Mario (late Mary) and Teresa Scarsellato (Butch).
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" A. Gizzi; and his son Michael T., Jr. (Marylee). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
