It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John F. Kontra Sr. (Conshohocken, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 20, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Kontra and Rose Kontra (Raymond); and his siblings, Michael Kontra and Anna Mae Williams. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Whitley of Conshohocken and John F. Kontra, Jr. (Ann) of Harvey's Lake; his siblings, Francis Kontra of Upper Merion, Emma Zimmerman of Evansburg, Patricia Kontra of Swedeland and Rose Murphy of Montgomery County; his parents-in-law, Andrew and Jean Delliponti of Conshohocken; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Whitley, Jessica Kontra, Hannah Fontarees and Elliana Kontra; his great grandchild Sophia Bowe; and also Walter Kontra of Upper Merion. He is also survived by many Nieces & Nephews.
