It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bette J. Bateman (Conshohocken, Pennsylvania), born in Little Rock, Arkansas, who passed away on April 11, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph M. Davis, Sr. and Madelyne Davis (Stephenson); her husband William H. Bateman; and her brother Ralph M. Davis, Jr. of Little Rock, Arkansas.. She is survived by: her daughter Beth Pirkey of Lakeland; her brother Jack B. Davis of Little Rock; her nieces, Jacquelyne March (Richard) of Pottstown, PA and Patti Saucier (Michael) of Conway, Arkansas.; her grandchildren, Christopher March Pottstown (Jill), Elizabeth (Ryan), Buckwalter of Douglasville, PA, Lauren Mefford (Jacob) of Commercial Point and Jonathan Pirkey (Anika) of Morgantown, WV; and her great grandchildren, Alex, Jack, Katie, Molly March, Madelyne Buckwalter and Hudson Mefford.
Her service and entombment will be private at St. Patrick's Cemetery, East Norriton, PA. There will be a memorial Mass and celebration of her life which will be announced at a later date, the delay being due to mandatory precautions enforced as a result of the global pandemic.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Jefferson Fire Company No 1, the Wounded Warrior Project, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, or a charity of your choice.
