It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Ray Scott Sr. of Connellsville, Pennsylvania, born in Girard, Ohio, who passed away on September 26, 2023, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence Allen Scott; and his grandparents, Rev. Boyd W. Scott, Jetta M. Scott, Lester Showman and Emma Johnson Showman.
He is survived by: his mother Shirley RoseAnne Showman Scott; his wife Mary Jo Lancaster Scott; his children, Betty Jo Lancaster, Samantha R. Scott, Daniel R. Scott, Jr., Shelly R. Scott, Glenda J, Scott and Misty D. Scott; his sister Vickie Esposito (Jim); his brothers-in-law, David, George and Raymond Lancaster; his niece Kathy Lancaster; and his nephews, Bradley, Mike McPherson and Adam May. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
