He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth, Sr. Murphy; his son Austin Murphy; and his brothers, Kenneth Murphy, Jr. and Vincent Murphy, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Harmon of Columbia and Timothy Scott Murphy, Jr. of Columbia; and his sisters, Jeannette (Mick Metzger) of Potter County, Pam (Russell Hanes, Sr.) of Franklin County and Kelly (Henry Brommer) of Columbia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a large extended family.
