He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert L., Sr. and Hilda Ember Spiese; and his siblings, Hilda, Albert, Nathan, Kenneth, John, Grace, James, Gwen and Due.

He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Spiese, Patrick Q. (Kaye Spiese), Geraldine E. Spiese and Rose M. Spiese. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
