She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy H. Bender and Dolly W. Heistand Bender; and her brothers, Edward and Roy Bender, II. She is survived by: her close friend Richard C. Null; her children, Keith S. Sheaffer (Marjorie K.), Annette M. Garman (Robert L.) and Robin Sheaffer; her grandchildren, Nicole, Brian, Jr., Ashley, Andrea, Jacqueline, Zachary and Alexandra; her great grandchildren, Ian, Ethan, Kayla, Brian, III, Isabella, Evalynn, William and Sutton; and her sister Kim Hernandez (Ricardo).
