She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph H. Nichols and Ollie Cruise Nichols. She is survived by: her husband Norman T. Bernard; and her sons, Joseph Bernard (Charlotte), James Bernard (Kathy) and Paul Bernard (Kristin). She is also survived by five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
