She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie E. Bookard and Anna May Jones Bookard; her spouse Conwell Russel Gibbs; her children, Roderick William Bookard, Sherry Ann Harrell and Andre William Harrell; her grandchildren, Russell Rene Harrell, Jr. and Renee DeShawn Harrell; and her siblings, Ivan Bookard, Sr. and Gloria Bookard Wilkerson.
She is survived by: her children, Melliniece Harrell of Parkesburg, Jesse James Harrell, Jr. of Mechanicsburg, Russel Rene Harrell of New Port News, Sabrina Chanel Harrell of York, Marvella Dawn Harrell of Carlisle, Michelle Harrell Randolph of San Diego, CA and Quanita Lucchier Gibbs-Thompson of Downingtown; and her friends, Terrence Brown, Maggie Bruce Pennington, Elanor Bruce Hurd and Frances Hines.
