She is survived by: her parents, Asbury Thompson and Mae Marie Thompson; her husband Paul C. Shaffer; her daughters, Joy Shaffer Schneck (Rusty) of Exton, PA and Jill Shaffer Swanson (Paul Daniel) of Boalsburg, PA; and her grandchildren, Christopher Schneck (Julie Allen), Sarah Schneck, Eva Swanson and Aubrey Swanson.
