He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. Burtyk and Sara G. Burtyk (Solley); and his brother Richard Burtyk. He is survived by: his close friend Diana Hill of Clarksburg; his sisters, Darlene Palmer of Blairsville and Cindy Foreman of Black Lick; and his nephews, Eric Palmer of Latrobe and Jerry Blatt of Homer City. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
