It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Roy Thompson (Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania), born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 27, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy LaCoe and Virginia Gairens Thompson; and his brother Rex Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary DeCicco Thompson; his children, Sean Thompson and Maria Thompson; his grandchildren, John, Anthony, Nicholas, Alexandria Thompson, Joey Thompson Grasso and Marissa Grasso; his great grandchildren, Giuliana and Giavana; his stepchildren, Ricky Thompson, Vinny Pelosi and Nick Pelosi; and his sisters, Suzanne Drumsta and Diane DeCicco. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
