She is survived by: her children, Charles "Junebug", Edward "Omar" Pettiford, Evangela "Vangie" Redfern (Tracy Redfern), Sandra Pettiford-Stevenson, Tammy Pettiford and Loreitha Lacewell; her siblings, Ida Whitehurst, Rebecca Jerrell and Eugene Chisolm; her uncle Willie Pollin (Leslie Pollin); her grandchildren, Kendolyn Jefferson, Shakia Pettiford, Marva Pettiford, Omar Pettiford, Lamar Pettiford, Martina Pettiford and Jamar Pettiford; and her parents-in-law, Lacie Chisolm, Carol Chisolm, Demarest Chisolm and James Lacewell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, great great grandchild, cousins, and friends.
