He is survived by: his mother Emily Kornegay (Hardy); his wife Brenda Kornegay (Dallam); his sons, Johnnie Ray, III and Edward; and his siblings, Evone Gray (Curtis), Christine Murray (Phillip), Janet Cockroft (Wayne), Bruce Kornegay (Margie) and Douglas Kornegay (Stephanie). He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
